Large plaster bust copy of Patrick McDowell's admired work 'Daydream'. This beautiful plaster cast sculpture in the round has been handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio.

Belfast-born Patrick McDowell was a neoclassical sculptor of the early- and mid-Victorian period. Macdowell's representation of the ideal human form tended to be angelic, and his figures were characteristically leaning or stooping, or partly supported rather than simply standing.
