Écorché Torso

Torso of an écorché male figure, originally sculpted by French-born British sculptor Édouard Lantéri. This plaster cast has been handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio. 

An écorché is a figure drawn, painted, or sculpted showing the muscles of the body without skin, normally as a figure study for another work or as an exercise for a student artist.

Dimensions: 40cm (height) x 27cm (width) x 14cm (depth).
