Carpeaux's Death Mask

Plaster cast death mask of Carpeaux, handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio. The wall sculpture has a metal wall hook attached on the back for hanging.

Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux was a French sculptor and painter during the Second Empire under Napoleon III.

Available in white plaster or with an antique finish, made with traditional artists' pigments. The effect may vary from the photo, as the wash creates a unique aesthetic every time. If you have a preference on the depth of colour, please do let us know :)
