Handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio, this anatomical plaster cast is an exact replica of Jean-Antoine Houdon’s renowned écorché arm study. Capturing the intricate musculature and structure of the human arm in remarkable detail, it is an excellent reference for cast drawing, painting, sculpture, and anatomical study.
Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741–1828) was one of France’s most celebrated sculptors, renowned for his lifelike portrait busts and anatomical studies. His écorché figure remains one of the most important teaching models for artists studying human anatomy.
A hook is attached to the reverse for easy wall hanging.
