L'Inconnue de la Seine (also known as The Unknown Woman of the Seine and La Belle Italienne) was an unidentified young woman whose putative death mask became a popular fixture on the walls of artists' homes after 1900. Her visage inspired numerous literary works. Handmade plaster death mask by the Nicholas H Wood studio. 

The sculpture has a metal wall hook attached on the back for hanging.

Available in white plaster or with an antique finish, made with traditional artists' pigments. The effect may vary from the photo, as the wash creates a unique aesthetic every time. If you have a preference on the depth of colour, please do let us know :)
