Venus Intaglio

A handmade plaster intaglio created by the Nicholas H Wood studio. The cast descends from the original Italian relief depicting the classical female figure of Venus.

Venus is the Roman goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. Celebrated for her grace and charm, she symbolises idealised beauty and the power of attraction. Venus played a central role in Roman mythology and inspired countless works of art throughout history.

The surface shows subtle signs of age, including minor wear and patina, which contribute to its authentic, timeworn character.

Made from high-quality plaster, it has a wall hook on the back for easy hanging.
